George Gershwin is one of the most celebrated composers of modern times. He is Famous for bridging the gap between Jazz and Classical music, and developing a new kind of popular music that held a genuine, American voice. With such pieces as his Rhapsody in Blue and Concerto in F he has become the most widely played American composer of all time. Although he boats having one of the most recognizable names in modern music, many people do not truly know the story behind it all. The Early Years His Childhood Gershwin was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 26, 1898 to Morris and Rose Gershwin, Russian born Jewish immigrants who had come to America only a few years earlier. However George took much more of an interest in it than Ira and quickly became enamored with the piano. Ira soon stopped piano lessons and George began to take them instead. (Malchis and Gale) He was soon immersed in music entirely and went to concerts and performances on a regular basis. Soon enough he out grew the neighborhood piano teacher and with the help of some friends began to take lessons from Charles Hambitzer, who believed Gershwin had a lot of talent. It was not long before Gershwin knew what he wanted his place in the world to be. Getting Started In 1914 Gershwin decided to drop out of high school in order to enter the field of music, despite his mother’s warnings of its financial instability. He went looking for jobs and became a song plugger for a company named Jerome H. Remick and Co. As a song plugger he advertised the pieces made by his company and persuaded radio announcers to play their music on the air. Gershwin enjoyed this field of work as it let him listen to much popular music. During this time Gershwin continued to play the piano and write songs. In 1916 he published his first title, â€Å"When You Want ‘Em You Can’t Get ‘Em, When You Have ‘Em You Don’t Want ‘Em,† a very provocative piece for it’s time, speaking of the many prostitutes that filling the New York streets at that time. The judicial system is designed to punish those who commit crimes against one another and for those who break the laws in other ways. According to Pearson (2012), crime can be defined as conduct in violation of the state, the federal government, or a local jurisdiction for which there is no legally acceptable justification or excuse. After sentencing, the last component gets introduced which is corrections. The correctional system involves more than prisons. Not eve ryone sentenced receives a jail or prison term. The main difference between jails and prisons is that jails are short-term facilities that operate on a local level where defendants are placed while awaiting trial, sentencing or both and for those serving less than a one-year sentence. Prisons are only used to house the defendant when sentenced to incarceration for periods of longer than one-year (Bureau of Justice Statistics, 2012). The corrections system also encompasses the departments of parole and probation. The probation department oversees those sentenced to house arrest or probation. This is because the unusable answered questionnaires reduce the consistency level of answers provided in the questionnaires in that the number of sample answers required to make an objective conclusion about the overall study is quite reduced. This may lead to possibly subjective general findings. Critical review of the general nature of the research Nature of researches includes experimental and descriptive among others (Jung, 2014). Similarly, a comparative study is another kin (Guo Luo, 2004). The nature of the research is evidently exploratory. The study was conducted to explore the relationship between the operational procedures the degree of market share and customer quality perceptions in casual food joints in the city of Sydney, Australia. However, the research strategy should have been expanded to involve other important aspects like the items of operational processes in those eateries. This would have given a deep, sound and wider picture of the holistic relationship between or among the involved study aspects. Conclusion The analyzed report may be substantially useful in the enhancement of the methodologies for project proposals in some ways. For instance, the findings of the report which is notably consistent, accurate, comprehensive and precise are applicable in facilitating the development of highly functional, applicable and universal research methodologies. This means that the employed methodologies in the report are applicable in enhancing those suggested in the project proposal. As such, it will be prudent for the researcher at any given time to ensure that the examples of the methodologies used in the analyzed report in this case study are in support or blend in with the nature and amount of data to be collected and analyzed in the project proposals. Of great essence is that the research methodologies have to be relevant, flexible to applicable in a majority if not all the presented circumstances.
